Bleeding hemorrhoids are also associated with rectal bleeding. What it is basically is a hemorrhoid lump that has ruptured or burst causing blood to flow out from the wound. Having hemorrhoids by itself is not too serious. However if you are suffering from bleeding hemorrhoids then you need to seek treatment immediately.
Do not however mistake bleeding hemorrhoids for internal hemorrhoids. A common symptom for internal hemorrhoids is also mild bleeding after bowel movement. Blood can be seen on the toilet paper or in the bowl itself. However with bleeding hemorrhoids there will be a lot more blood at a more continuous rate.
